Ventilated façade means that elevation plates aren’t fixed directly to the building wall. But they are installed on special aluminum or steel sub-construction which leaves spaces between wall and plates to ventilated the façade.

Ventilated façade gives the guarantee that the building wall will be always dry. The dew point won’t be one the main wall but on the thermal isolation. The isolation is constantly ventilated by the flow of the air which is between the wall and the plates.
